Home Fashion First days in paradise…

¡Hola chicas!

Hi girls! Tulum is paradise less than 2 hours drive from Cancun. The first 2 nights we were in an all included hotel called Kore Tulum Retreat & Spa. Adults only/real holidays. I’ve never been a big fan of this type of hotels, but this one was perfect to recover from the jet lag and rest for a couple of days before continuing our adventure through the Yucatan Peninsula. The hotel is a piece of peace in a truly spectacular landscape over a cliff. Heaven. Every corner of the hotel seduces you with the beauty of its surroundings, a beauty that stays in the retina. Such a good mood booster! Pools, hot tubs, 2 restaurants with stunning views, Balinese beds on white sand… every little detail counts to make your stay (almost) perfect. Would you like anything to drink? Just order water, mojitos, gyn tonic… in your bikini and you will have it. Everything is included! The food is healthy and have a great selection. Breakfast with natural juices, eggs and yogurts. A la carte meals based on salads, fish and some local delicatessen: tacos and guacamole!! You can even enjoy meals from the room (with a view, if you are lucky). And when I thought I could not get more comfortable and surprised I discover the Spa and have the best (and most expensive) back massage ever! I have not felt any sort of muscular pain ever since. (That is not included. Sorry). The only (big) downside is that the hotel has no beach. Nothing like waking up at dawn and go for a run (barefoot) on an endless beach. It has a gym, but not the same. When you spend more than ten hours locked in a plane to enjoy a wild beach all you want is being on the beach!! Instead of witnessing the spectacular scenery from a comfortable Balinese bed or from a jacuzzi with a mojito in hand. It’s like being in a magical place and not able to enjoy it as it deserves. Tulum is a wild beach and this hotel is too well mannered. Here you have a photo diary to get a better idea. Do not miss the upcoming posts with all the pictures/adventures  during my trip. Thank you very much for your visits and comments. Happy day!

Tulum. December 2015.

I am wearing: Silky Shorts: Zara (similar). Striped Top: Zara (similar). Sunnies: Ray Ban (here).

Get a car to move around. There are so many atractions to see and it is easier than getting the hotel or an agency organize it for you. And cheaper! Near by to see: Tulum ruins (10 minst drive), Cobá (1 hour drive), Chichen Itza (2 hours drive), Cenotes (natural sinkholes). You can use bikes to move in Tulum (downtown and around).

Tulum is a wild beach with many hotels/cabanas. Pick one that fits your budget and enjoy this paradise and some mexican food!
